Air Incheon is set to become South Korea’s second-largest cargo airline, being selected today as the preferred buyer of Asiana Airlines’ cargo business.
Reportedly, Air Incheon trumped the other two candidates, Air Premia and Eastar Jet, being a pure cargo carrier and with means to mobilise funds. All three reportedly offered close to KRW500bn ($360m) for the cargo business.
