Unconfirmed reports suggest a small containership, which suffered a major cargo fire just forward of the crew accommodation block, has sunk in the Red Sea, off Saudi Arabia.
Crew reported the fire last Wednesday and abandoned the vessel; the Jeddah Marine Rescue Coordination Centre picked up all 25 crew.
